Welcome to St. Andrew’s, Ulrome!

St Andrew's newly restoredSt. Andrew’s is a welcoming, friendly Church in Ulrome, East Yorkshire about 6 miles north of Hornsea and on the east side of the B1242, East Yorkshire.  St. Andrew’s Church has gone through a restoration programme during 2012 and has a ministry of weekly Sunday morning services at 11.00 a.m. which are open to all.

St Andrew’s Church is neatly tucked away behind some houses on Church Lane on the North side of the village.

Sunday Service

We extend a warm welcome to our Sunday Service which is held every Sunday at 11.00am at St. Andrew’s, Ulrome.  

The service incorporates confession, prayer, scripture reading, worship with hymns and some worship songs, sermon, creed and opportunity to receive personal prayer.

The service concludes with tea and coffee served in the church.  The service usually lasts one hour in total.

The church holds baptism services within the Sunday worship service and enquiries for this should be made initially by speaking to Mrs. Margaret walker reader in charge of St. Andrew’s church, or by leaving contact details at Bridlington 404100

Other events and activities
There is also a St. Andrew’s ladies craft group held at the Rickaby hall, Ulrome 1.30 p.m. – 3.30 p.m.  Thursday afternoons which is open to new members both church attendees and non church attendees and which costs £2.00 per session including tea/coffee and biscuits.  Ladies bring their own work to this group – parking available.

From time to time there are special events held at the church.

St. Andrew’s church is a Christ Church network church and so members are welcome to attend events held at Christ Church, Bridlington including alpha courses, meeting place for ladies and many other events and meetings over a very wide range of ministries – please refer to the Christ church main website.
